29th May: “Royal Oak Day” more commonly known as Restoration day or Oak Apple Day was an English public holiday observed annually on this day to commemorate the restoration of the English monarchy in May 1660. In some parts of the country the day is still celebrated – we want to continue this tradition. Please look out for further details of activities and event information.
